shopCameron Jewellery began in March 1984 with just Peter in a small store in Square Edge here in Palmerston North. A few months later Jill joined him, and from there the legacy began.

Using his traditional training Peter pushed the boundaries of conventional jewellery design, creating pieces that the people of Palmerston North had never seen before and over the years the business, and Peter's fan club, grew.

23 years, and four shops later, we very proudly opened the doors of the Salvation Army Citadel; our home for the last seven years here in King Street. Renovating the extremely neglected hall was a huge undertaking, but we think, and we are sure you all agree, the Citadel is very us!

Today Cameron Jewellery is still creating one of a kind pieces, remaking precious pieces of jewellery and stocking jewellery from the most fashionable designers in New Zealand and Australia.

All our manufacturing work is still done on-site, just as teamit was in 1984, and you can even watch the guys work through a viewing glass.

Peter and Jill are both still in-store, Peter behind the bench and Jill at the counter, supported by their dedicated team. The Cameron Jewellery team is truly a family affair with Jessie, their daughter, as well as honorary family members Sam Drummond and Lisa Driffill and new recruit, Sandra Piltén.

Come in and visit us for all your jewellery needs from simple repairs to remaking old pieces and designing something new, no job is too small or too complicated - we are here to help!
