This pendant features a Hexagon Cut piece of Carnealian, with an ancient Hippogriff carved in intaglio, and set in a part rub-over setting.

A hippogriff is a legendary hybrid creature with the front half of an eagle (head, wings, and talons) and the hind half of a horse (body, legs, and tail). Originally coined in the early 16th century, the mythical beast is famous for its appearance in modern fantasy, role-playing games, and folklore.

This pendant is 22mm x 13mm and hangs 3cm long from a tapered swinging bale.
